We like to think that anyone who donates to, volunteers for, or attends Paws for the Cause benefits! As for who benefits financially from PFTC, there are 12 local animal charities to whom we divide the proceeds(see below). There are so many worthy charities--we wish we could donate money to them all! Many of these wonderful animal charities will have booths at PFTC--this will give them the chance to spread the word about, and raise community awareness for their causes.

WHO IS PAWS FOR THE CAUSE?
There are SO many people who help make Paws for the Cause happen every year. We rely so much on our volunteers--from Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital staff to community members to members of the various charities, to local businesses. It truly 'takes a village' to raise this child!
For the first time, in 2010, we decided to create a PFTC Volunteer Committee, to gain new ideas and perspectives, and to have more helpers to spread out the many tasks involved in making this event a reality.
If you would like to be on the PFTC Volunteer Committee, email us via our Contact Page.
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, October 13th at 6PM at Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital. We invite ALL animal-loving members of the community to join us and be part of the committee. "Many hands make light work."
